Laranja Original Publishing is renowned for its commitment to literature and the arts, producing around 20 books annually and maintaining a catalog that now exceeds one hundred published titles. Founded in 2016, the publisher's mission is to promote cultural diversity through publications ranging from fiction to art magazines, featuring both established authors and emerging talents. Additionally, the publisher has earned prestigious awards such as the Jabuti and the Rio Grande do Sul Academy of Letters Award, solidifying its relevance in both Brazilian and international literary scenes.

I had the privilege of collaborating with Laranja Original Publishing as an editorial designer, contributing to two special projects: the “Three Studies on Antiquity” collection and the Literature and Art Magazine #8. This partnership allowed me not only to apply my expertise in editorial design but also to strengthen the publisher's visual narrative, aligning the graphic project with the literary and artistic intentions of each work.

The Literature and Art Magazine by Laranja Original is a space dedicated to literature and visual arts, bringing together short stories, poetry, essays, and works by artists exploring diverse perspectives and creative languages. It aims to be a meeting point for writers, illustrators, critics, and readers passionate about cultural innovation, fostering dialogues between different forms of expression.

In its eighth edition, the Literature and Art Magazine reinforces its commitment to artistic plurality, featuring exclusive contributions from renowned figures such as Augusto de Campos and Luiz Ruffato, alongside emerging literary and visual talents. The publication also celebrates its transition to an annual frequency, showcasing a highly curated selection that includes translations, fiction, poetry, criticism, illustration, and painting.

The graphic design of this edition was conceived to reflect the diversity of content within the magazine. From the choice of typography to the layout, every detail was carefully planned to create a seamless and engaging reading experience that highlights both the texts and images. The layout aimed to balance the different artistic languages, offering a functional and aesthetic design that emphasizes the quality of the content and invites readers to explore each page attentively.
